LANA Plans Flag Day Celebration

JACKSON, Tenn.- Members of the Lambuth Area Neighborhood Association plan to celebrate National Flag Day this weekend. It will all happen on the front lawn of the University of Memphis-Lambuth Campus, Saturday. LANA residents can bring their lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy live music and a pot luck picnic dinner around an area decorated with American flags which will serve as the focal point. Organizers said the event was one for the entire family and will run from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
