Case Against Lexington Aldermen to be Heard by Grand Jury

LEXINGTON, Tenn.- WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News has learned the case against two Lexington aldermen accused of stealing gravel from the city will be heard by a Henderson County grand jury in October. Lexington police released updated information Wednesday on the case against Jerry Bingham and Jack Johnson.. The aldermen are accused of taking the gravel from the Lexington Water System warehouse and the Lexington Public Works Department. Investigators said they even used city equipment to load the gravel. It was unclear how or where it was used.
