Child, 5, dies after hit by truck
MOUNT JULIET, Tenn. (AP) – Authorities in Mount Juliet say a child has died after being stuck by a pickup truck in a driveway.
WSMV-TV (http://bit.ly/15qPql7 ) reported the victim was five years old and ran behind the truck, which was being backed down a long driveway by a family friend on Thursday.
The child died Friday at Vanderbilt University children’s hospital.
Investigators said they don’t anticipate charges against the driver.
