Time to fall back: Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday
JACKSON, Tenn. — Get ready to fall back.
Daylight saving time ends in the U.S. at 2 a.m. local time on Sunday, November 5.
At that time, clocks are to be pushed back one hour as we return to standard time.
This practice — loathed by some — has been under scrutiny in recent years as numerous states, including Tennessee, have attempted to pass legislation to end it.
However, Hawaii and Arizona are currently the only states that do not observe daylight saving time.
Most smartphone clocks will automatically adjust, but be sure to change your standard watches, wall clocks and digital clocks accordingly.
The U.S. will remain in standard time until we “spring forward” once again on March 10.
