Detroit Murder Suspect Arrested in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. – A man wanted in Detroit, Mich. in connection with a 1987 murder was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Jackson, Monday. Douglas Hill, 42, was arrested around 11 a.m. Marshals said they were alerted by local officers that Hill was staying at the Baymont Inn on Vann Drive. He was eventually taken into custody and booked into the Madison County Jail. Marshals could not say how long Hill had been in the Jackson area or give any details of his alleged crime.
