TWRA Steps Up Water Patrols

WEST TENN. – Expect to see more than your usual number of officers with the Tennessee Wildlife and Resources Agency on the water this weekend. They will be conducting “Operation Dry Water,” which focuses on finding those boating under the influence. The agency is gearing up this weekend in preparation for the 4th of July holiday, which typically sees an increased number of folks on the water. TWRA offices will also be on the lookout for those not wearing life jackets and violators of other boating safety practices.
