Fire Severely Damages Home in South Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.-Firefighters are still looking into the cause of a fire in south Jackson on Carroll Street just before 10, Tuesday morning. Firemen said when they arrived, the single story home was completely engulfed. Early reports indicated those who were at home, luckily, escaped with no injuries. Investigators said they quickly put out the flames. The house suffered heavy damage.
