Body of Man who Drowned in Pickwick Lake Recovered

HARDIN COUNTY, Tenn.-The body of a Mississippi man who investigators believed that a lost hat cost him his life after he jumped into the waters at Pickwick Lake to retrieve it has been recovered. According to the Hardin County Fire Department the body of Roger Deaton, 54, of Iuka was discovered after it apparently washed upon the bank of the lake today. Officials said he was not wearing a life jacket when he jumped into the water on Sunday.
