Jackson to host a TN Songwriters Week Qualifying Round in January

JACKSON, Tenn. — An opportunity to express your art could earn statewide attention.

Local songwriters are called upon to enter an official qualifying round for Tennessee Songwriters Week.

A round will be hosted in Jackson on January 27 at The Carnegie in downtown.

Participants will have the chance to perform an original song and compete to advance to Tennessee Songwriters Week Showcase at Lafayette’s Music Room in Memphis, with a chance to move on to perform at Nashville’s historic Bluebird Cafe in March 2024.
