Brownsville Bank Robbery Suspect Captured

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. – Brownsville police have caught the man accused of robbing a Brownsville bank, Friday morning. Police said he was caught around 5 p.m., Saturday, in Lake County. Authorities believe Jeffrey Traywick, 48, to be the suspect identified in a surveillance video. He is accused of robbing the First South Bank on West Main Street in Brownsville around 9:07 a.m. He reportedly indicated to workers that he had a weapon and escaped with $1450.
