Dream Center holds annual ‘Night in the Caribbean’ fundraiser
JACKSON, Tenn. — Rebuilding lives, restoring hope, and renewing dreams.
One local organization brought the community out and took them on a journey filled with love.
The Dream Center of Jackson hosted their 14th annual Night in the Caribbean. This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for The Dream Center.
This event helps women and children who have found themselves homeless.
A silent auction was held to purchase items such as jewelry, quilts and gift cards. Comedian Shawn Reynolds brought the entertainment for the night.
Some of those whose lives were changed by the center gave words of encouragement, and dinner was served by Coyote Blues.
“You know the weather’s been terrible and cold and wet and slick, and tonight it’s all warm and fuzzy in there, and tons of people who show up, and I just feel so blessed,” said Executive Director Gail Gustafson.
The Dream Center’s new building located on 59 Oil Well Road in Jackson.
