Man pleads not guilty in deadly Decatur Co. pontoon boat crash

DECATUR COUNTY, Tenn. — A man facing eight counts in the death of another man in a summer boating accident appeared Tuesday in court.

Marcus Hutson appeared before a judge in Decatur County and pleaded not guilty in the death of 21-year-old Nikolas Willhoit.

Hutson is charged with vehicular homicide and boating under the influence in the July 31 collision that killed Willhoit.

Court papers from earlier this month say Hutson refused a sobriety test, leading to additional charges.
