Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore reminds of offers, donation opportunities amid tax season

JACKSON, Tenn. — Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore in Jackson is a place that stays involved with the community in various ways.

Since tax season is coming up, they would like to remind people that they can donate what they might be replacing or find new items at ReStore.

Habitat for Humanity may be recognized for bringing the community together to build homes, but with ReStore, they can also help those who are already established that want to donate.

ReStore offers furniture, home décor, some appliances and much more.

And if you’re doing some remodeling or upgrading, ReStore can give you assistance as well.

“We take used items and turn around and sell them back to the public, so we can continue to raise money for what Habitat does on the other side of the door,” said Chris Wilkerson, ReStore Manager. “With helping the elderly community, making any major repairs in their homes, or helping somebody that wouldn’t be able to typically purchase a home.”
