Early Morning Stabbing Sends Man to Hospital

JACKSON, Tenn.-A stabbing in east Jackson sent a man to the hospital early Thursday morning. Officers said the stabbing happened around 4:30 a.m. near the intersection of Lexington Avenue and Rosewood Street. The victim told police two masked men, armed with knives, tried to rob him. Officers said the suspects beat the man, then stabbed him twice, once in the neck and again in the upper chest. Doctors treated the victim at a local hospital, then released him.
