Savannah nonprofit receives generous donation

SAVANNAH, Tenn. — Sheltering Tree Ranch is a local nonprofit in Savannah that provides many services for the special needs community in that area.

Job opportunities for adults, schooling for kids, and various therapy opportunities are just a few examples of what they offer.

It is a large property near downtown Savannah that quite a few people enjoy on a regular basis.

Thursday morning, Can-Am For a Cause and First Choice Can-Am teamed up to donate a vehicle to the ranch.

Dave and Bobbie Boroughs, the founders of the ranch, talked about how this will benefit them.

“We’ll use it in so many different ways. It’s pretty much countless. I’m sure it is gonna have many many miles on it,” Bobbie said. “So it’s gonna be a huge blessing.”

The Boroughs started Sheltering Tree Ranch in 2012, and it has grown every since.
