Rockabilly Highway Revival is bringing live music and more to Selmer
SELMER, Tenn. — An annual event is set to make its return, bringing music, contests, and some unique vendors.
The Rockabilly Highway Revival will take place Saturday, June 8th in Selmer.
The festival features rockabilly music from old and new artists alike.
At the event, there will also be a car show, food trucks, and a McNairy County Music Hall of Fame induction.
The revival will be held at 111 North Third Street in Selmer.
Here’s more on what you can expect.
“It’s national Ghostbuster’s Day. So we have the 731 Ghostbusters coming in to help promote McNairy County– Carl Perkins, which the car show benefits, and then we are having our first Rockabilly pin up contest, PG rated of course, and we got ladies hitting the stage at 3 to show the rockabilly gear, their clothing and all that. I think that’s going to be a lot of fun,” said Jessica Huff, executive director for McNairy County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism.
This year marks the 15th anniversary for the event.
