JACKSON, Tenn. — With the school year approaching, we have some exciting giveaways that will help you get ready.
The Jackson Madison County Regional Health Department will host their back to school bash this Friday, July 26, in the department’s parking lot.
Public Information Officer for JMCRHD, Ginger Rowsey, said that it’s going to be a good time for the kids as well as their families.
“It’s gonna be from 5 to 6 p.m., and while supplies last, we’re going to be having a community cookout. We’re going to be giving away school supplies,” said Rowsey.
She said they will also have a basketball goal giveaway to go with the department’s ‘Never Miss a Shot’ theme.
“We’ll also have a lot of other community partners that are gonna be there displaying large equipment, fire trucks, police vehicles, outdoor equipment. And we’ll have a lot of information about health, health insurance and other items that you could use from the health department,” said Rowsey.
