UPDATE: Whiteville Food Bank to host fundraising events to support community
UPDATE (08/15/2024): The Whiteville Food Bank Banquet on August 17 has been canceled by its organizers.
WHITEVILLE, Tenn. — One non-profit in West Tennessee is hosting a couple of upcoming events to help raise funds to provide emergency assistance to members of the community.
The Whiteville Food Bank encourages you to attend Le’Andria Johnson and friends’ upcoming concert this Friday, July 26, beginning at 7 p.m. at The Venue 38068 in Somerville.
Special guest Pastor Tim Rogers will speak and there will also be performances by the Echoaires and Comedian Kenny Lackey.
In addition to this fundraiser will be the Whiteville Food Bank Banquet on August 17 at 6:30 p.m.
This event is located at the Whiteville Nutrition Center.
“We offer many different services. The emergency gas assistance. We offer emergency utility bill pay,” said Angelous Simmons, vice president for Whiteville Food Bank.
