PRESS RELEASE FROM THE JACKSON TENNESSEE DOG FANCIERS ASSOCIATION:

Local Kennel Club Creates Scholarship at UT Martin
Scholarship to Benefit Vet Tech Students

Jackson, TN, July 25, 2024 – The Jackson Tennessee Dog Fanciers Association, an affiliate club with the American Kennel Club, has created a scholarship to be awarded to a Vet Tech student  at UT Martin. We are proud to announce that the first recipient of this scholarship is AllieGray  Anderson. Excerpts from AllieGray’s bio:

I am currently a senior at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where I am enrolled  in the veterinary technician program. With a passion for animal care and a  commitment to excellence, I have dedicated the past two years to working at Reelfoot  Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant. This experience has been invaluable,  allowing me to develop a wide range of skills and deepening my love for the veterinary  field and the animals we serve.

Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I am deeply connected to my  family and friends, who provide unwavering support and joy in my life. I treasure the  moments spent with them, whether it’s a casual get-together or a special celebration.

Looking ahead, I am eager to continue my journey in veterinary medicine, with  aspirations to further my education and eventually specialize in a particular area of  veterinary care. I am committed to making a positive impact in the field and  contributing to the well-being of animals and their owners.

Congratulations to AllieGray!
