Salem and Sage Studios prepares for grand opening in downtown Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — One local business is making its way to Jackson’s downtown while supporting other local artists.

Salem and Sage Studios is an art collective of handmade art work from local artists.

Owners Abigail Byrd and Haleigh Stefanakos have been working for 5 years now to make this dream possible.

Byrd is a silversmith creating rings, earrings, and permanent jewelry.

Stefanakos works as a fragrance artist creating skin care, laundry detergent, and soaps.

They will also offer products from their brand Sage Planet in partnership with a company called 3rd Planet Soap Co.

“We’re really excited to be a part of downtown Jackson. All of the products in our store are gonna be made by local artists, not just us, and there are gonna be several of us that are a part so when you are with us you are going to be supporting our local community,” said Abigail Byrd.

Salem and Sage Studios will have their grand opening on Saturday, August 10, at 207 East Main Street in downtown Jackson.
