Ronald McDonald House Charities hosts inaugural ‘731K RMHC Family Fun Run’

JACKSON, Tenn. — Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis-Jackson hosted its inaugural “731K RMHC Family Fun Run” Wednesday.

Held in downtown Jackson, the event was a part of 731-Day festivities.

Around 60 runners participated from young kids to adults.

Firefighters were present as well and turned on a hydrant for kids to play in.

They were giving away breakfast sandwiches, t-shirts, and drink koozies.

They plan on holding this event every 731 Day.

The RMHC of Memphis-Jackson will provide support for up to 20 families who are receiving care at Le Bonheur Children’s and Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

The facility will be located in the Hyatt Hotel, which is currently under construction, and is hopeful to open its doors by the end of 2024.
