Spirit Halloween welcomes customers in the Hub City

JACKSON, Tenn. — Halloween may not be here yet, but one business is ready to celebrate early.

Spirit Halloween has opened for the 2024 season in the former Macy’s location at Old Hickory Mall.

Spirit Halloween is the largest Halloween retailer in the country.

Customers share that they are excited and looking for certain products before they sell out.

Spirit has offered themed products like costumes, masks, and party supplies since 1983 to help make your spooky season a scary good time.

“They had a bunch of their newer costumes, they had a bunch of those animatronic things, a bunch of t-shirts, a bunch of just, little knick knacks, house décor,” said customer Jackson Keltner.

This year, new merchandise includes costumes from franchises such as “Inside Out,” “Five Nights at Freddy’s,” “X-Men,” “Ghostbusters,” “SpongeBob SquarePants” and more.

According to their website, since 2007, the retailer’s Spirit of Children donation program has raised over $110 million to provide funding for art, music, aquatic and pet therapy programs, as well as supporting Child Life salaries.
