Registration open for National Night Out block parties in Jackson

Registration is now open for National Night Out Block parties @ https://www.jacksontn.gov/
National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention in local anti-crime programs, generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs, and to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
National Night Out also sends a message to criminals, letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and focused on taking their neighborhoods back from the criminal element that looks to tear them down.
This year’s National Night Out for Jackson will be held on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, from 5-8 p.m.
The Jackson Police Department is asking you and your neighborhood to get involved by turning on your porch lights that evening and having a block party in your neighborhood.
