Hub City resident celebrates her 100th birthday
JACKSON, Tenn. — One Hub City resident celebrates a special milestone.
Louise Rice, a resident at Mission Convalescent Home in Jackson, turned 100 Wednesday and celebrated with friends and family Thursday. Louise has been at Mission Convalescent Home for 3 years and she’s a Haywood County native.
Louise is full of life and energy, she loves to pray, have conversations, and knows how to make people laugh.
“I think all of the energy and everyone coming and celebrating and her daughters are here with her and her family–friends and she’s really enjoying herself and we got the jazz band here and so, she’s having a good time today,” said Shani Stevens, activity director for Mission Convalescent.
The celebration included live music and refreshments for all who attended.
