Team of The Week McNairy Central Bobcats
We start things off with our team of the week and it will be, The McNairy
Central Bobcats.That’s right last week they kicked off the season hosting the Humboldt
Vikings where they got their first win in convincing fashion with a final of 58 to 20.The Bobcats offense
got it done a number of times on the ground having an offensive line with a lot of seniors. While defensively
although they did give up points they still manage to get stops in the second half that gave them momentum
and ultimately help close out the game. We caught up to first year had coach Justin Truett and he talked
about what it means to win team of the week and that the Bobcats are only concerned about the
Bobcats.
“It feels good you know the team is really came out and the community is big in supporting
us and were proud of that the kids are proud of it you know we’re something we’re trying
to put a product on the field that our community is proud of so it’s really encouraging to their
kids. So we want to be a football team that plays whistle to whistle we want to play four
quarters we want to be physical we want to get after people more importantly we want
to focus on ourselves.”

on Friday to face off with Adamsville at 7:00 pm.
