Classmates reunite for a special event

MILAN, Tenn.—One special event reunites former classmates for a day filled with fun.

The Polk-Clark Class of 1964 joined together today to celebrate 60 years of life after high school.

The big reunion began at 10 this morning at 1041 South Harris Street in Milan. The event included fun for all ages.

A Legacy Parade was held throughout downtown Milan. It included several guests from the Corvette and motorcycle clubs, beauty queens, and Shriners International.

The parade also featured a performance from the Milan High School Marching Bulldogs.

There were lots of food options available at the event including various food trucks, a fish fry and Bar-B-Que. Several vendors were also on site at the event.

“Rain or shine the festival will continue. Please, please, please come out and support the food vendors, some great food out here, great merchandise out here. Come support the vendors and support the festival,” said Vanessa Rogers, Vendor Coordinator, SAACA.

Guests at the reunion could also enjoy live music throughout the day.
