Memphis Grizzlies greet fans in the Hub City
JACKSON, Tenn. —If Grizzly fans happened to be out shopping at Kroger today they may have gotten a chance to meet the team.
Grizzlies fans and Kroger shoppers had the opportunity to meet Jaylon Wells and members of the Memphis Grizzlies today when the team popped into the Kroger on University Parkway in Jackson.
Shoppers and fans were able to enter to win Grizz swag and prizes, including tickets to a 2024-25 Grizzlies game.
“We had one of our players Jaylon Wells, Rookie, signing autographs, entertaining, doing our thing at the Kroger. We made sure to give out some tickets to the fans. Now we’re at the Boys and Girls Club, getting ready for a basketball camp and we’ve got a surprise for the kids also,” BLJ, promotions manager and Inner Arena Emcee.
The Grizzlies Caravan’s next stop will be at Auto Zone Park in Memphis for Grizzles Day at the Redbirds on Saturday, September 21.
