Beech Bluff Recreation Center brings fun family-friendly events
BEECH BLUFF, Tenn. — A local recreation center has many events coming up through the end of the year.
The Beech Bluff recreation center is bringing some fun activities to their community.
On September 28th, they will be celebrating the Beech Bluff Day festival with a parade, vendors, jumpers, food trucks, live music and more.
In October, they will have a Halloween carnival and hopefully a haunted house.
There will be games, food, and more family friendly activities.
At the Beech Bluff recreation center they also do fun game nights like bingo and giant candy land.
However, Monday night was all about quirkle.
“Quirkle is actually a board game. It’s kind of like dominos. You have pieces that you have to kind of put together. It does with shapes and colors. So it’s just a little different, it’s a little fun. So, that’s what we’re trying to do… things that nobody else is doing,” explained Lisa Lovelace, event coordinator at Beech Bluff recreation center.
The rec center will also be holding some fundraisers to go along with a recent grant they received for a playground.
