Lexington native stars in feature film
LEXINGTON, Tenn. — A Lexington native stars in a feature film screened only on Thursday night at the Princess Theatre.
Liberty Knowles can be seen showcasing her talents in the motion picture “Country Rain.” The feature is based on the fictional story of Pete Ford who is a country music artist at the top of his career, but finds out ‘not all that glitters is gold.’
In the film, Knowles plays a foster child. She says this film is her first speaking line and is just the start of her career. Knowles shares more about her experience while shooting the movie.
“It was amazing. They’re the sweetest people I’ve worked with so far and it was really cool to experience the set and the story because it was such a small company that made it and now they’re growing and getting big and the movie is just amazing,” said Knowles.
Knowles has more to look forward to, she filmed the pilot of a TV series this past summer that will be coming out in 2025, among other exciting projects.
