Decaturville hosts end of summer celebration

DECATURVILLE, Tenn.—-One local town marks the end of summer with fun for all ages!

The town of Decaturville hosted its Main Street Festival today. The festival kicked off at 9 this morning at the court square downtown. 

Community members were invited to enjoy a variety of fun activities throughout the day.

There was a car show, bicycle rodeo, pet show and also food trucks on site.

Guests could peruse all kinds of items from the more than 70 vendors participating this year.

The festival even offers special fun for the kids with a petting zoo, and face painting.

“Roughly 80 vendors and I think they told me seven food trucks here today. Looking for a big turn out as we celebrate the town of Decaturville,” said Zach Curry, ranch manager, 2 Coots Ranch.

New this year was live music from “Hambone” on Friday night, as an early kick-off to this year’s event.
