Bash at the Beech returns to Lexington
LEXINGTON, Tenn.—Cool cars, a barbeque, and lots of family fun was happening today at the second annual Bash at the Beech.
The event was hosted by the Beech River Cruisers at Beech Lake in Lexington.
There was a car, truck, and motorcycle show, auction, and fun for the kids.
This year more than 250 vehicles rolled in before noon.
The top 75, best car, truck, and motorcycle awards were given out to those who participated.
In addition to seeing cool cars, there was also good food.
“This year we had BBQ, chicken plates, burgers, hot dogs and BBQ bologna. That’s one thing that always does very well. We’d like for everybody to come out and see us every year to have a good meal,” said Joey Harris, Beech River Cruisers.
The Beech River Cruisers put on various events throughout the year to benefit the community.
At the next event, proceeds will help a local man who was injured in a semi-truck accident.
