One local store welcomes fall with a special event
JACKSON, Tenn.—A local game store is kicking off the fall season by hosting the first ever Fall Games Festival.
Canada’s Collectible Games is located at 33 Carriage House Drive in Jackson.
Today’s event brought vendors, content creators, a cosplay contest and even pictures with Pikachu!
The festival was originally planned for outdoors but due to the weather, it was brought inside.
“I’m sure a lot of people may get discouraged by the weather but I’m telling you don’t get discouraged by the rain cause it’s dry inside,” said Brian Canada, owner, Canada’s Collectible Games.
“Even though the storm is happening we are still having it. We are still live. There’s still going to be a lot of people; fun, food, games– all day long,” Canada continued.
The owners of Canada’s Collectible Games also say this is a family-friendly tabletop gaming store, that focuses on in-person games during a time when socializing in-person is declining.
