Woman Arrested Friday Found Hanging on Saturday
CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn.– An inmate at the Carroll County Jail is dead after a reported hanging. Stacy Mae O’Rourke of Galloway was arrested in a drug round up by the McKenzie Police Department on Friday and sent to the Carroll County Jail. She was found hanging in the jail at 2:00 am Saturday. At this point, it is an open death investigation, however, initially it appears to be a suicide.
