Trenton Police Department kicks off ‘National Night Out’
TRENTON, Tenn. — First responders in one local town celebrate an annual event.
Trenton’s National Night out kicked off this evening at Pedestrian Park. Residents enjoyed a night full of music, games and activities with great food.
Guests were also able to get to know their first responders as well as the equipment they use to help serve the community.
“It’s important to the City of Trenton, like most cities across the nation, for us to be in that engagement model and that’s exactly what we’re doing tonight, so we look forward to it every year,” said Trenton Chief of Police Bill Cusson.
National Night Out is a community policing awareness-raising event that cities across the U.S. can celebrate with their communities.
