Decatur County Bank celebrates over 100 years of service

JACKSON, Tenn. — It’s a celebration of 125 years for one local bank.

Decatur County Bank celebrated 125 years of their banks existence. The bank was originally founded in Decaturville in 1899. This event was held at their Jackson branch which has been here for 4 years.

Residents, customers and staff around the area participated by enjoying food trucks and giveaways. The bank has a location in Jackson, Decaturville, and Haywood County just to name a few.

“We take great pride in what we do. We think that we are some of the best at taking care of customers so we want you to come and see us. We hope that you will at any of those locations,” said James England, president and CEO of Decatur County Bank.

The event began at 11 a.m. and ended at 2 p.m.
