Local church host empowering women’s conference

JACKSON Tenn. — Unity Temple Ministries has been all about showing women how much they are valued and appreciated. Different events took place on each day.

Friday, October 18th focused on giving women special attention and pampering, while Saturday included a panel about mental health. Sunday, October 20th was the climax of the weekend with a special worship service featuring a guest speaker, songs of praise, and dance.

“This week has been inspiring women…to serve god. We want everyone, god wants everyone to serve him. So, we just empowered them to come out and be blessed on this weekend,” said Bertha Hunt, First Lady, Unity Temple Ministries.
