Lexington to host Fall Festival, bicentennial celebration

LEXINGTON, Tenn. — Lexington is celebrating its bicentennial this month.

A community celebration is planned for Saturday, October 26 in conjunction with their annual Fall Festival. The event is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the court square in Lexington. There will be vendors, food trucks, games, a corn-hole tournament and a kids costume contest.

There will also be a pet parade, a chili cook-off, a live history walking tour and more.

“We’re gonna have some opening remarks from local and state politicians and a lot of nonprofits that will be setting up to give out more information to our communities. We encourage you all to come out and it’s going to be a really fun, big birthday party for the City of Lexington and the chamber Fall Festival,” said Rylee Smith, member services manager for the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce.

You’re encouraged to bring the whole family and make this a day to remember.
