Madison County Sheriff’s Office Responds to Auto Burglary Uptick

Madison County, Tenn.—Madison County Sheriff’s Office has been actively investigating a series of auto burglaries in the areas of Browns Church Road over the past several weeks.

On the evening of November 15, deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person and possible auto burglary in the Beech Bluff community. This response resulted in the apprehension of a suspect.

The suspect, identified as a 19-year-old Black male who resides in Jackson, Tennessee, was arrested for auto burglary. Further details about the individual will be released after formal charges are filed.

Based on current information, authorities believe the individual acted alone. However, if new evidence or additional suspects emerge, updated information will be provided to the public.

Sheriff Wiser stated, “We want to assure the community that we are actively addressing this issue.
