MVP of The Week Jaylen Mosley

MVP of The Week Jaylen Mosley

Our MVP of the week will go to  Jaylen Mosley he plays wide receiver for
Jackson Christian school and this past Friday he had the most receiving yards in a game with 255
while also having 14 catches for four touchdowns against Grace Christian Academy. Mosley had a historic night because
from that point it only got better. On his fourth touchdown catch that made his 59th career touchdown which set a new
TSSAA state record.  I will say it again he broke a TSSAA record with his 59th career touchdown catch. Not to mention he won the Mr Football
award last season and is a semifinalist again this year. Some of his offers go as far as Tennessee,Auburn, Kentucky, Purdue, Arizona,Ole Miss and there
is so many more I didn’t even mention. We caught up with Mr Mosley at practice and he spoke about catching the record setting football , what it would mean
to win back to back Mr Football awards and what kind of legacy he wants to leave at Jackson Christian take a listen.

“Before that my mom had told me I had one more touchdown to go so when it happen you know everybody reminded me that I broke the record and it was just an exciting thing to do and it was a blessing to be in that situation.  It would mean alot just because you know its rare for people to do that to be up in a situation to do some that hasn’t been done alot before. It’s a blessing to be in that situation. Know me as some more than Football you know just how i am as a person you know football is great and all that but its gone end one day and you know what you do for people and how you are towards people leaves a bigger mark on them than just what you can do on the Football field.”
To catch Jaylen and the Eagles in action they host Nashville Christian
on Friday at 7:00 pm.
