Tate Surber, Jaydon Peete and Noah Spencer headline Mr Football Winners
Today in Nashville TN was the Mr Football awards and as you know we had some finalist and not just finalist
but winners.Thats right lets start with class 1A as the winner is Tate Surber The McKenzie
Rebel quarterback recorded 3,177 passing yards, 1,212 rushing yards with a combined 64 total touchdowns.
Next up in class 2A the winner is Jaydon Peete.The running back from Milan who ran for 2,348 yards with
32 touchdowns and over 100 tackles playing linebacker. But we were not done. Our last winner in division
2 double a will go to Noah Spencer. The USJ running back who had over 2,000 yards and 32 touchdowns while playing
defense and being one of the leading tacklers. I think I speak for everyone here at WBBJ and in West
Tennessee that we are so proud of every last one of these young men. They set the
standard from week one on what it is to be a student athlete on and off the field.
and they gave us one of if not the best season of high school football we have
seen. Congrats to you all. It was well earned.
