Santa Claus visits the Kandy Bank in Humboldt
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — One local candy shop helps spread Christmas cheer with a special guest.
Santa Claus made an unexpected stop at the Kandy Bank in downtown Humboldt earlier Monday evening. Usually, Santa only eats milk and cookies during Christmas, but this year is an exception.
Mrs. Claus also made an appearance alongside Old Saint Nick.
“We wanted to do something that kept us together as a family as opposed to being in corporate American and traveling and that’s what we used to do. It’s been a dream of ours for a few years before we opened it,” said Scott Keena, co-owner.
“It’s something we always talked about kinda closer to retirement but here we are,” said Kelli Keena, co-owner.
The Kandy Bank is open Tuesday for anyone looking for last minute stocking stuffers. You can find the shop on 1317 East Main Street in Humboldt.
