‘Hope on Wheels’ presents new van to Tennessee Homeless Solutions
JACKSON, Tenn. — ‘Hope on Wheels,’ a nonprofit, presented a brand new van to Tennessee Homeless Solutions.
Hope on Wheels aims to empower the homeless community by providing reliable transportation.
Through their efforts, they were able to raise almost $32,000 to purchase a van. THS will utilize the van to transport homeless individuals to essential services like healthcare and employment.
“Our team wanted to come together and help throughout the rest of the community to raise some funds, to be able to partner with THS, and to be able to raise them funds, to be able to help them have reliable transportation for people in unfortunate situations,” said Brandon Gray, general manager for Allen Samuels Dealership.
In the past, THS utilized their own vehicles, and now, with the help of Hope on Wheels, they have a primary means of transportation they can use specifically to transport residents.
