Partly Cloudy, Windy With Falling Temps
Weather Update: Tuesday, December 31 —
A decent dry day is on the way for West Tennessee. However a post-frontal, Maritime Pacific air mass will be settling into the region as we go through New Year’s Eve. That will do two things for us tempertures wise we’ll be going the wrong direction falling from aound 50 into th upper 40s, albiet fairly slow. Pressure gradient wise, we’ll keep the blustery winds going today betwen 15-20 mph along with some gusts pushing 25-30 mph, particularly in NW Tennessee where there is a wind advisory for Lake County today until 5:00 PM. That means the wind chill will likely hang out in the lower 40s all day, sneaking into the 30s towards sunset.
