Black Tie & Boxing returns to the Hub City

JACKSON, Tenn.—One local event returns to the Hub City to ‘pack a punch’ of fun and excitement.

The Black Tie & Boxing event was held at the Carl Perkins Civic Center Saturday evening.

The event combines the formal black-tie elegance with live MMA and kickboxing under one roof. Doors opened at 5 in the evening with the first match beginning at 6:30 pm.

Those who attend can enjoy a cocktail hour, fancy sit down dinner and non-stop action in the ring.

This is an annual event in Jackson with proceeds benefitting the STAR Center and helping those with disabilities.

“This event is so important to us and our day to day function as an organization and helping our clients receive the services that they need regularly,” said Jennifer Graves, President, Star Center.

Black Tie & Boxing is presented by Leaders Credit Union and many guests look forward to attending each year.
