Former TN State Representative Curtis Halford passes away

DYER, Tenn.—Former Tennessee State Representative Curtis Halford passed away Friday.

Curtis Halford Former TN State Representative, 79th District

Halford was admired by many and served the 79th district as state representative from 2009-2023.

He was also a longtime public servant, serving as Gibson County Commissioner, and Dyer Public Works Superintendent.

Several West Tennesseans and members of the political community have taken to social media to express their sadness in his passing, many citing, ‘Halford was such a tremendous advocate for West TN.’
