Brownsville Bank Robbery Suspect Indicted in Federal Court

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — A Brownsville man made his initial appearance in federal court in Jackson, Wednesday. Jeffery Mack Traywick, 48, made his first appearance in federal court where he was indicted on a bank robbery charge. Traywick allegedly robbed that First South Bank on West Main Street in Brownsville in June. Traywick is scheduled to return to court for a detention hearing on Friday. If convicted of the federal charge, he faces up to 20 years in federal prison and up to a $250,000 fine. He reportedly indicated to workers that he had a weapon and escaped with $1450.
