United Way Invites Community to Nominate a Volunteer of the Year
Jackson, Tenn. (Feb. 13, 2025) – This year, United Way of West Tenn. will begin a new tradition at its annual First Ladies’ Luncheon by recognizing one deserving woman as Volunteer of the Year. Nominations are currently open.
The First Ladies’ Luncheon is United Way’s largest fundraising event that celebrates the incredible work of women in West Tennessee. Starting this year, one dynamic woman who is making a sizable impact in our community will receive the Volunteer of the Year Award.
Nominations are open and can be submitted here, or visit uwwt.org. Please submit nominations by Friday, March 14. Recognition of the awardee will be announced at the upcoming luncheon on Thursday, April 17 from 10:30am to 1pm (lunch begins at 11:45) at the Jackson Fairgrounds.
