Humboldt Man Arrested on Drug Charges

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — A Crockett County man was arrested Monday by Humboldt Police on drug charges. Barry Douglas Mathias, 57, was arrested at a Kay St. address and charged with Manufacture/ Deliver/ Sell a controlled substance Schedule VI Marijuana of approximately 28 grams. The Humboldt arrest led to an investigation and execution of a search warrant on the Mathias residence on Salem Road in Crockett County. Agents of the West Tennessee Violent Crime and Drug Task Force, Crockett County Sheriff Troy Klyce and members of The Crockett County Sheriff‘s Department , where officers seized an additional 108 grams of marijuana. Mathias also faces felony drug charges in Crockett County.
