Cold Early, Then Mild And Seasonal This Afternoon

Weather Update: Monday, February 24 —

Another cold start to the morning for us area wide. However, as promised a warming trend will take hold today pushing temps fairly quickly through the 30s and 40s today. The only detriment to the warming will be a few clouds in the afternoon. That will slow the warming down by a couple degrees. Even with that I think we’ll likely make it to at least 59 possible a few areas sneaking into the low 60s. If you don’t quite make it ( to 60°) today, you definitely will tomorrow. There will be a clipper parade passing  just north of the Mid-South. The only rain chances this week will be associated with a clipper that gets close, late Wednesday overnight into Thursday. Though for now the showers appear to be fairly spotty and light.
