Woman charged in connection to deadly wreck seeks reduced bond
JACKSON, Tenn. — Katrina Salmons, who was arrested following a 2024 crash that killed two and injured one, appeared in Madison County Circuit Court Tuesday.
On August 4, 2024, Jackson police officers responded to a deadly two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Windy City Road and McClellan Road.

When arriving to the crash, officers found a vehicle containing three passengers and another vehicle containing Salmons. In the first vehicle, 22-year-old Connor White and 21-year-old Aaliyah Ayala were pronounced deceased at the scene, and an unnamed 17-year-old female was was extricated and flown to Regional One in Memphis.
Salmons was charged with with two counts of Vehicular Homicide, one count of Vehicular Assault, two counts of DUI, one count of Reckless Driving, one count of Speeding, one count of Disobeying a Stop Sign, one count of Driving on a Suspended/Revoked/ Canceled License, one count of Violation of Open Container Law, one count of Possession of a Legend Drug, one count of Violation of Seat Belt law, and one count of Violation of Financial Responsibility Law.
Tuesday, Salmons made an appearance in the Madison County Circuit Court where she was given a scheduled court date for July 28 at 8:30 a.m.
